  • Auto Modellista Challenge

I was wondering. Out of all the people on this forum who own Auto Modellista, who has the fastest lap time on the Akagi downhill. I got a 2"31"574 without bumping the walls using a Skyline-powered Silvia S13.

i'm pretty sure i averaged like 2'10... but i wouldn't think it'd be that much faster.

the game came out a long time ago on PS2 and it came out a while ago on xbox. i would not buy it because the physics are a little funny. but other than that yeah it seems like a fun game but a little frustrating at times. the easiest way to get far is to get the oldest car in the game then the people you race have that car. once you can do engine swaps you have a "new" car. <8)

                            Akagi Downhill -

                            86 - 2:13
                            s13 - 2:08
                            s15 - 2:06
                            22b - 1:56
                            r32 - 1:59

It's been a long while since i last played, and yea the physics are really weird. But if anyone wants to go at it, im in. Just pm me or something.

The physics are absolutely horrible. If you are used to GT3 this game will seem very weird to play. I know it is more of an arcade game than a simulator...but I still think the physics should be a little more realistic. The game looks great, and it has a lot of good cars. I liked being able to buy a set of Watanabes. But I just couldn't get used to the driving portion of the game.
