My first car was/is an 89 supra N/A, that I got a month ago. And you can drift a beetle, I've seen videos of it, and I think it's great to see people drift uncommen cars, like a beetle, or Camaro, etc. Well good luck with your beetle, and you shouldn't have trouble fixing it, because it's probably the simplist car ever made, and the air cooled engine is pretty much indestructable.

First car that I drove: 1999 GMC Suburban K2500. Incidentally, the first vehicle I drove sideways.
First car that was "mine:" 1990 BMW 325i.
First car I actually owned: 1992 Nissan 240SX SE coupe

My first car was a 94 Corolla. (parents gave it to me). I hated the lack of power so I dropped in a 20V blacktop with 6-speed. 2nd car was a 91 240sx (piece of sh!t, sold for $1000) and now I got my eight-six.

First, aircooleds are awesome, and second you can totally drift those. It just takes talent.

oh ya herbie the love bug. In the one move the kid calls it... the word for 8 in spanish because of it is number 53. You could go JDM and call it a "hachi"

if the old air cooled engine seems a bit underpowered you could always swap in this little motor

                http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33615

ps dont go for the buy it now

The bug will be me and my dad's first resoration project. Iwas theinking of puttin rally stripes on it in a pearl white.

And on drifting it, idon't think i will be doing that any time soon.

It won't have a lot of power because it will only have a 1600cc engine.

That is no excuse. My eight-six only has a 1.6 and it breaks the tires loose just fine.

Where do you live? If you say the US, then you're wrong. There was no 1984 320i, only 318i and 325e models.

                          Corsa Sedan 98

This is an Opel (sold as Chevrolet here in Brazil) Corsa Sedan (a local developed version as a 4 door saloon/sedan )
                          He was a 1.0 8v engine ( yes 1000cc 8 valves ) with only 60hp, and worst FWD
                          But I already paid it
If someone want more photos of it could send me a PM
