Drifting in GT3

do anybody now how to drift in GT3 with the GT4 steering
wheel ? if so, think it can better your technique by using it.

I DO I DO! hahah sry.........but yes i do its not alot diff than with the older wheels bc the new one has a program or sumthing in it that only lets it turn as far as the old ones..........but i also this its better anyways because of the button placement and because of the shifter.....i know i am alot better sence i got the new wheel

Yes you can drift in GT3, you just have to set up your car like a drift car. I dunno about the GT4 steering wheel because I havent used it, but I've heard its badass. But when GT4 comes out, it will be fun to use.....best driving game ever...I cant wait Anyway, I dunno if it would improve your techniqe...because im not sure they did it so perfect that you have to drift exactly like you do in real life, but they most likely did since everything else was about perfect.

I'm seriously considering getting a PS2 just so I can play GT4. So this steering wheel...is it made specifically for the game?

yup it has 900 degs. of rotation. just like a normal car but obviously it does not have feedback like a normal car(you know what i mean.....) and there is no clutch. i wish they had added a clutch. but no big deal because its still going to be fun.

where can i get information on the wheel, ive been looking for a good one to use and this sounds like its good

its at bestbuy and probably most other electronic stores (babages, cuircuit city, and many others.) it is $150 though so im going to have to go hungry for awhile because i am probably getting a RX7 this friday but it depends if the mechanic can fix it then i owe some money but food last for a day but a car can last for years. <8- )

who makes the wheel?? i just wanted to check see some stuff on it before it go and buy it, because theres so many out there, just want to make sure i get the best

i believe logitech makes it. it is obvious because they advertise GT4 and the 900 deg. steering wheel. ummm i cant think of anything else but it is black and it has a little shifter and paddle shifters/flappy paddle shifters/F1 whatever you feel like calling them.

holy crap that is a lot of supported games. yes it is. the black one with the little shifter. i need to get some money and pick that up if it works with GT3 with the 900 deg. or rotation.

BTW, I can drift in GT3 w/o modifying the car or the cars suspension. the new wheel is amazing. and yes, GT4 is awesome. I imported GT4:P, the physics are only upped by the real thing. it is amazing. I can not wait for the full version to come out. only 2 more months. the 900 degree mode is odd though. once you get used to it it's no problem. I always found my self catching the wheel and only letting it spin 200 degrees(as in GT3) and I always spun out(mind you doing 120-150kph). the G35 Coupe and the NISMO 350Z are my favorite cars so far. the weight distrobution is so freakin real. it's so fun.

i really want that wheel because im sick of locking the stupid one up that i can turn with 1 arm and not let go. how is prologue? i was watching some clips a lonngg time ago and it looked great. how was the photography mode?
