  • Drawings and Prints of yor car $40-80

    Hey guys,

My name is Brian Curley and I'm currently a studying graphic design student in Sarasota, Florida. I'm posting this in hopes that someone will be interested in purchasing a piece of work from me. I have recently done work for SportBikes.com, former employes, as well as a few other auto and motorcycle enthusiasts. At the bottom of this page are some examples of my work. I am able to render just about anything that you would like, so please, throw ideas at me and I'm sure we could figure something out. As far as price goes, I have been charging between $40-50 for an 8 x 10, depending on complexity, and $70-80 for an 11 x 17, again, depending on complexity. Other sizes are also readily available, however the price will be pro-rated. All prints are made from photographs, either mailed to me, or digital. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at bcurley@ringling.edu , or call at (508) 801-1610. Thanks for your time, and I hope that I can help some of you guys out.

    Thank you,

    Brian Curley

Nice drawings, but it seems like it has a damn good chance of being a scam to me. I'd love to have a nice drawing of my car like that... when I get it a little more finished. But giving someone 40-80 bucks to then draw me a picture that may or may not look as good as some that were posted on the internet... sorry dude.

Don't take this the wrong way (but I bet you are), but I don't see the talent.

In the drawings, I see someone who have a very good eye to convert a photograph to a media drawing.
The drawings are basically Xerox copies.

The half, rear FD pic is just nasty.

The area around the rear wheel is either not finished or your freehand technique was poor
You should get rid of that one if you're trying to showcase your talent.

Most successful artists have a style.
Style is something I don't see in those pics.

How much more schooling do you need to finish?
I would suggest to finish school first and polish up your talents before you solicit money for your work.

the only reason I through in the one of the back end of the FD is to show an in progress pic of a drawing I did for a fellow RX-7 autocrosser. and i guess since u say that they look like xerox's is a good thing, so thanks! but yeah if you think its a scam then fine, but im a resonable college student going to ART school here in florida so think what you'd like. however, if you are not satisfied with your drawing, then i would be more than happy to re-draw with no extra cost.
