  • Is this vlsd or not

    is there any way of telling if this unit is a vlsd just from the pic?

    i have a guy online who is selling it, he say's the shafts turn opposite each other when u turn one of them, he's not entirley sure if it's vlsd or not.

                thanks but it doesn't matter now. i went to a junk yard today and paid 275 for a diff out of a 95 inf j30 with 70K on it, i'm picking it up on monday, i tore out mine today. What a pain in the A$$

                    it was 100 plus 60 for shipping on ebay, but i think it's over now. why do u need an open diff?

                      Probably so he can swap in an aftermarket clutch-type without having to bother with downtime.
