  • What platform is best for Drifting??????

Just want to hear what people have to say about this. I want to know what the best platform is cost and performance wise for drifting. Don't include the AE86. I'm talking about newer machines like 1990 and up.

The best platform is RWD, cheap, has aftermarket support, and you can afford to crash it.

Crazy Hawaiian, long time no see. Good to see you again.

The best way to find out this information is to Search, as in look around, cruise the forums and find the information that you seek oh Drifthopper before making post to inquire that what has already been travelled by more people that the Great wall.

There is not best platform, Hawaiian said it best. If you ask for a specific car you will get 10 different ones because anyones opinion is just that, an opinion. so please, SEARCH!

the miata is raelly difficult to drift, i am impressed with jeff (turns101) driving skills as he was very competent in that car.

the miata is such a smooth car though, and its really fun to drive, just hard. once you get used to it im sure it has its advantages.

Thanks for the support. As a drift car it is not so great, but it can dooo it. I am surprised I wasnt attacked by half of the people on this board already for posting that.

Its just a really fun car all around..

For drift I would def like 240 or something to that affect..

that's why beloved miata was sold for my 240 project.
