Are the engines in the s4 different then the s5 engines? For example, will a s5 cold air intake fit on a s4?

S5 has lighter rotors than S4 and has a 8000 redline instead of 7000 in S4.

            S4-146hp

            S5-165hp

Don't forget hardened stationary gears,VDI intake manifold, different injectors, aux. ports are activated via air pump instead of back pressure

True, you need an adapter to bolt the filter onto a S4 and the filter will bolt directly onto the S5 sans adapter.
