I know that they came with 14's, But i'd at least get a set of stock or aftermarket 15's. A slightly thinner sidewall on the tire is good because it will flex less then a tall one. With that said, imagine a 14in wheel with 50 series tire on them, it will also lower the car in a bad way because you are more likely to scrape/hit bump stops tec. Remember, you car has a 4x100 hub.... very very very common size. 205/55/15 or 205/50/15. Like i have mentioned I have 16" 's and run 205/40/16 = no sidewall flex. I am going to use a set of 14's tonight to drift with195/60/14 's and i'll let ya know how the sidewall hold up.

well, with the 16's on a 1.8 (much more power stock for stock over a 1.6), i can get 1st gear spin in the dry and 2nd in the wet.

Well, after last night, the 14's i have on the back w 196/60/14's held up quite nicely... i was suprised how little sidewall flex there is. I'll post pics of my car later in the current set-up it on.
