  • what's a pillow tension rod?

is it important for drifting? thanks

i assume you mean caster rod?

on an s13 the caster rods have big sloppy rubber bushes at the front of these rods changing these to pillow mount versions helps feel alot, also having the ability to adjust the amount of caster
so your steering wheel self centers so you can tune it to exacty how you like to steer.

yes. to add, the closer to 0 caster in the front, the more responsive the car will be. typical cars run 3-8 degrees of positive caster cause it makes it easier to control at high speeds but diminishes responnse and versatility.
