RING GAP TOO LARGE? piston manufacturers when they supply rings will
also give you a general guideline in which to check or set your ring
gaps those are set forth to make sure you don't have any problem as
far as too tight of a gap unfortunately a lot of them end up having a
gap that's actually too large too large the gap will increase the
crankcase pressure and can cause you know catch cans to fill up and if
it's on an extreme condition even pressurize the oil seals to have a
continuous oil leak that is hard to find
