Be prepared to void your warranty and risk actually breaking something. Before you make any reall mods, you always have to consider the consequences. In this case, voiding a 4 year warranty and possibly blowing up your engine. If your ready to pay to play the game, then by all means go for it.But when you void your warranty, everything is coming out of your pocket.

The one I saw was red with near stock looking rims. How much boost was the one your talking about running?? Wonder how the compression ratio was on that. I thought the VQ's were pretty strong engines. Maybe thats why he wasnt running that one that day. =P

the procharger runs 7psi of boost and only has fuel control and no ignition timing *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*.

vq's have ok blocks, but the major issue is the con rods, they are the first to give out. so you gotta be carefule when you boost the 350z. it has 10.3/1 CR.

Also, I forgot that you can buy this:

It's a twin plate clutch kit from tilton that takes 30 pounds out of the clutch/flywheel assembly. The pedal effort is slightly less than stock, too! Here's a video or two.

You gain around 15-20 horsepower from the weight loss alone. If you put in test pipes and remove the cats, you gain quite a bit of horsepower as well. One of my friends recently put it on his twin turbo Z and says the turbos have to catch up to the engine and that driving in traffic isn't bad.

Thanks for the info Daytona350z. I wont be worrying about that since I don't own a 350, hehe. I've heard some of the Cobra guys blowing theres too with the Prochargers. Mostly cause they're looking out to get BIG hp without doing any internal work and running high boost numbers without properly tuning anything else.
