  • Dccd?

what does exactly a driver control center differential do? and how does it work. i know that it's used in subarus. and what about the active center differential in the 4wd skyline?
anyone that knows about any of this stuff, please reply. thanx

Dccd is basically a variable center differential - allows the driver to control the torque split between the front and rear wheels.

ATTESSA like on the Skyline decides on its own where to send power (front versus rear) but has pre-programmed protocol that it follows. The Skyline's AWD system sends 100% of the power to the rear, but under slip conditions it sends up to 30% to the front wheels.
