Cali pump 88 turpentine? put some decent gas in it, that'll help you keep things running clean and let you get away with a little more timing to boot.

depending on how hard you mashed the gas while drifting there, you could have also spun a bearing, or floated a valve.. but this does sound more like some sort of electrical problem.. quite strange..

i really hope you changed your fuel filters after that, you prob sucked some crap from the bottom of the gas tank when you went sideways.
