maybe this is off topic now, but if you're still considering going nitrous for your ride, if the engine IS in good shape (dont know if you comp. tested it yet) it could be a good idea. If you've ever heard of the Nitroux Xpress Maximizer system, it uses a wet system from NX (whatever power level you want, 50 would prob. be max i would go on an older engine to avoid $hit hitting fan) with the Maximizer, you can computer control the solenoid to allow however much of the 50 hp shot you want to use at a time. you can run the solenoid duty at 50% at times, giving you actually a 25hp shot, or have the solenoid kicked up to 100% to give you the full 50 hp shot of the same jet. it's used for drag racing to give more traction on launches, but i think it would be a good idea for drifting, you could have different throttle angles set up to different solenoid duties, so when you put it to the floor in the middle of your drift, you're getting the full shot. Just a thought, it's a sweet a$$ system. Might be a bit more expensive than you wanna spend tho. In the end, do what you want, but don't think that nitrous isn't safe if it's set up properly, or on the other hand that you won't have any problems at all throwing in a 4age. remember, it'll be cheaper to replace a 4ac, and you can buy a lot of 4ac's for the price of a 4age install.
