driftxtreem, props to you for standing up for what you have done.. But I honestly think drifting would have gotten here eventually with out the help of APC. Now it seems like everyone, even boy scouts know what drifting is. It seems like it changed overnight. My car went down for a engine swap.. drifting was still pretty grassroots.. no one knew the potential of mid 80s Corollas for example.. then even now.. my car isnt running.. now its full blown. Could be catastrophic, I mean it picked up in popularity so quickly that some people.. like me are looking for the next thing in the car world.

Maybe VIP cars in the US.

nah, I think that the general consensus is that APC is crap, but as for DriftXtreme I think the group was formed with the intent to become commercially viable. So I'd more or less consider the team to be a successful business venture. I don't think selling out really applies here.

i wish i could afford some apc lights on my 92 240sx. you see i am broke now after paying my rent and buying new shocks springs and strut tower bar. maybe next paycheck. nope, that goes to more bills, more tires, more break pads and my s13sr20det motor swap fund. maybe years from now when i finally have squeezed 300hp out of my beloved and my drifting skills have improved to the point that they merit sponsorship, then i will consider owning some apc led zip ties to hold up my blackazz. til then i just better see no damn civics at my practice spot making it hot

When you go against your beliefs......when did working for APC go against someone's beliefs. Thats a pretty deep statement to be making. You don't know what this guy's beliefs are, do you? He's making money DRIFTING, and if hes not drifting, he doing something related to drifting. I couldn't think of a better way to have a career. He's making money doing something he likes to do, if only the rest of us should be so lucky.

Boy at the sh!tstorm I caused. Jesus it never was supposed to go on this far. Everyone needs to just do what they want to do. As for Driftextreem. I think he rules and if he makes money working with APC then so be it. Most of you other goofballs aren't making money doing something you love. Just read the "what do you do to support your car" thread. Seems to me that Extreem is the pretty smart one here.

If you don't like APCm, don't buy it. Plain and simple. Who cares what who has and where they got it. If it isn't on your car then don't hate on it. Actually alot of you should pay attn to what Extreem is saying and doing. He is in the heart of the scene and you are not.

S-13 Steve, i'll tell you what, if APC came up to me and said "Hey Ghost, want a full sponsership? All you got to do is put these Altezza's on your car and this neon", i'd be a neon/Altezza freak. I'd have Altezza's taped to my rectum. Have hat's made out of em and if you wouldn't then you are a fool. ANY sponsership does nothing but help you out. Free stuff is alway's good stuff.
