Yeah that is cool, the snow can be a good thing and a bad thing. Anyways, maybe try hitting it up behind a store, sometimes they have a little room for the trucks to drop off shipments. As long as the cops don't hear your exhaust echoing off the walls then you should go undetected.

the thing im most concered about is the sound of screeching tires......and the smoke....

tire smoke can give it away real fast

I would have to say generally i would frown on drifting in the city.. but i have the ability not to. i know alot dont. anyways first look for someplace outside of town if possible. then look to industrial areas late at night, and places like behind large walmarts or shopping complexes. dont over stay your welcome in those places though.

then put in as much time on the track as possible.

yes, track time is good, but then again, we dont have tracks or events out here.....ive heard a rumor that we are supposed to have an event in april, i will post all the details once i have them.....

i cant wait till we do, cause i would very much like to see how i stack up against other drivers in my state.

well, i dont drift yet, but im lucky enough to live extremely far away form any drift track or any track for that matter, the closest legal weve got here is auto X, which i will start doing soon, but illegally...

i happen to live in a very technological city, so there is alot of industrial areas and such for flat land work, and if i feel the need for a mountain, ive got my own private Akina about 20 minutes away......

You're crazy, powersliding in a focus. Those cars fall apart fast, especially if you beat on them. I know because I also have one. My advice to you is buy a 240 and keep the focus as a daily driver.

has anyone tried drifting at their local parks? The gates to markham park never close and they have alotta good turns but I was just wondering how far screeching tires can be heard?

Look buddy, this is what you HAFTA do. First get a pink eraser (preferabbly undeformed) and attach 2 pins on each side. From there, you simply place your middle and index finger on to of the eraser and slide along the contraption until you've mastered the art of inducing drift. BTW, don't forget to add 20 degrees of camber. Hope that helped.
