Yes its past simi valley. Straight up interstate 5
actualy go to maps.yahoo.com and put in bakersfield, CA or Buttonwillow, CA
is racelegal.com seriously considering a cone track? that would be expensive because of insurance. and the cost would go higher because of crashing, nitrous squeezing, fast n furious jerks biting off more they can chew. well in my theory there would be a a lot crashing hehe well actually if it was strictly a gymkhana track it would be so small that you would jus spin out a lil of u took a turn too hard... nevermind
it looks like a couple people anyway. I may be bringing a few guys myself. Spread the word and see if we can get about 6-9 more cars. Once we have 10-12 cars/people I will get the dates and all the rest of the stuff set up
we used to be able to go out to holtville (near el centro) but it got closed, they might open it back up next year, i hope it was a old airfeild with pleanty of room and no one around
find some prices and what is needed. However it seems more people would do the buttonwillow raceway though as they are realtively close to it. how about you join in on this buttonwillow thing
i am very interested in it. count me in. even through i haven't drift before but i am starting to practice. We probably can learn a lot on the track then in a parking lot.
looks like about 9 people so far. the max is twelve--very good. I would like to do this in either june or july. Any input on dates?
once we hit the 11 or 12th person we will have to figure out how to pay for this. I mean think we should have everyone prepay so there is no last minute drop outs leaving me or the others for a higher cost that we might not be able to pay for. I will get with the race way when the time comes and just see if we can get the money send straight to them since I do not want to be reponsable for anyones cash. That way one one can be blamed if it is lost or something.
i say July, because it will give more time for everyone to get the money in. Anyone worried about heat, There wont be any difference between june and july here. but expect 100 degree wether. track will have race gas, but for you out of staters 91 is all thats on the pump.
