I think you really need to get out and look at what you can get cars for.

you can get s13K easy 2gs us with some mods

you can get a zenki S14 Ks for just over 4.5 gs in some places. minor mods.

just so you know if it does not have
inspection (and your not in the military)
expect to pay 1G just for that. tax and shakan usually is about 200,000yen on top of the car just so you know.

get out and look more dude. and the bigger the city the cheaper you can find them. 86s levin are EXTREEEEEMLY popular often go over 6Gs

dam dude the cheapest place to get a car is on the lemon lot on bases.. people always get in a bind and have to just basically dump their car.. really can find cheap stuff..

I'd go with the silvia K's......if ur just learning cause as cool and fast as the DET is I don't think u'd learn as much with it then with the DE and mods also breaking parts while ur drifting is probably easier to afford with the s13K compared to the DET which will probably overheat and have probs if u don't tune it well or get it tuned correctly.......
