My first drift crash

do you feel proud when you look at some minor fender damage from a good drift? or is that just me?
well it was a badge of one of my first nice drifts (got way sideways and got a lil squirly on the exit.. side swiped a mail box)until a lady backed into the same spot and cave it in.....now its just a big dent

Dings, scrapes and crunches are badges. Wear them proudly. It shows the import masses that you actually drive your car. My FD gets that alot. "Wow you actually drive this thing" Hell yea. I don't fix my bruises. No need to. I am probably going to replace them with new ones the next time I go out.

And Nightwalker, It's too late. Any import whether it be drifter, racer or show car, is a target in todays 2 Fast and 2 *Censored**Censored**Censored*-curious society. Those movies saw to that. If you drive an import and it looks fast, you are a target. Alot of people where I live are going back to Camaros and Firebirds. Cops just don't look at them anymore. While they may not be good for drifting, they are good for keeping your money and license in your pocket.

I live in michigan where we have a lot of dirt roads. I dont have a car yet but my dad lets me drive his truck. It a 99' F150 with an 8ft box. That thing is hard to park without the *Censored**Censored**Censored* hanging out. any ways, my dad went on a hunting trip and i had to go to swim practice so i drove the truck. i was driving the truck 80mph down the dirt road. that where the Governer kicks in. Then i slowed down to 40 to drift a S turn in the road. Its like an off camber s turn that would be perfect to inertia drift off of. So i tried and i got through unti the back end jumped up because of the pot holes and i lost control. the back end spun out and got totaled by a tree. No damged to the frame or anything else. so i went to practice then went to Junk yard and got an exact color and year match for the box. After i told the guy at the junkyard what happened, he help me install the box. That was a long day. My dad still doesnt know. I rather spend $500 bucks then never being able to drive again.

i had a 2001 v6 mustang 5-speed with an open differential but i still got that sucker sideways everyday

ok my friends set up to make a video of me drifting a residential corner

i took the turn at 40 and hit a rain gutter in the road which sent my car about a foot in the air and when it hit the ground it spun out of control and smashed into a parked pickup truck.

both of them went up the curb and hit a tree

my hood completely flew off and my brand new mustang was totalled and so was the pickup truck.

i was only 16 and it was my seventh ticket but first accident

i just got a 1997 escort until im 18 and the other day i got that sucker sideways at 65 taking a turn and pulled it perfectly using the e-brake

dont ask how...maybe i got lucky but it was the sickest thing ive ever seen

i have had only one wreck in my entiere life driving, which is two years now, and it happened a few weeks after i got my 240....i was scouting a drift run in this kinda industrial part of town. lots of 90 degree turns on it, so me and a friend we just checking it out in the rain one day, nd i wasnt even drifting, just turning when i hydro planed and slid right into the curb. killed my control arms and my wheel, and also threw out my rack and pinion steering...that was expensive to fix. thats the only crash ive had, and ive done some pretty sick things too.....like 80 mph brake drift in traffic and sh!t like that.

Drifters have to be partly insane atleast. This guy told me I almost flipped my Civic when I pulled into school the other day. I was like right because I knew that I wasn't even close. Only if some of these kids rode with me just once. People call me crazy for my feints to side lock power slides in my Civic and I think that is just *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* stuff.

yeah, like this one girl that rode with my while i drifted a parking lot. she started screaming the first time i let the clutch out hard, and didnt stop until she got out of the car. she was shaking too, but then she told me how good of a driver i was.... also this one girl was with me when i spun out on accident on the off ramp from the interstate, at 110 mph. and when i busted that 80 mpoh brake drift on this road by my house, i started sliding into the oncoming traffic, and my friend started screaming about us dying and he sounded like a little girl....and he goes touging with me too.....lol. i guess i am pretty insane when i drive, but im not stupid. to some it looks like im being retarded, but i know i have complete control, so it doesnt bother me.
