either way, you dont need an ebrake, or antyhgin special to drift auto. basic wieght transfer skills you use ni anything else can apply here. no need to ebrake or whine about not having a clutch to kick.

if its a car , you can drift it.

not really the best

if u use drag slicks u get traction but using drag slick for driftin is pertty expensive and you can't get any traction with that thing using normal street tyres its very light light so with street tyres if go round a courner and jerk the wheel with the same amount of throttle or flat your foot (or both depends on the courner) the wheels just start spinning
another way would be tappin the brakes as it got drums on the back and discs up front

basically it was only driftin cos it was something different from burnouts

dragslicks is a horrible idea for drifting. the hotter they get the stickier nto to mention the amost total lack of any/all sidewall rigity.

also i was being sarcastic when i said

I dunno why you giving him such a hard time Ris. The idea that a car used for drag racing can also drift, does this piss you off or something? I'm sorry to break it to you, but alot of guys that have power like to experiment with kicking it out. I know a guy that is not into drifting, does not even know what drifting is, but has no problem doing insane smokey donuts or what I would consider full throttle choku's down the street in his no-hood (you guessed it, automatic) Nova. Now I agree this isn't the same thing as "drifting" but its almost there. I think anyone with the balls to sample should get a little respect. And its not like S13/R32 said he was the drift king or anything anyway. All he said was that it slides nice and its alot of fun.

i wasnt tryign to be mean to the guy. the el camino in FD was originally a drag project, however it had some suspension b/c the guy liked to auto-x as well. and i know from the past talking smack to local ls1 drivers about coming to auto-x that normally drag suspensions are super soft, and often they will take off swaybars, which is not a great idea for wanting to sustain a long drift or be able to transfer the other way. i was just pointing that out.

and the way i read that one post i thoguht you were saying you wanted to try to drift on slicks.
