Too bad it's the day before school starts. 10pm it ends, then drive five hundred miles North just to go to school the next day? Jeez, if they had it the day before I might be able to make it.
nothing ever happens on the first day of school, and this is probably the best way to end your summer. irwindale Raceway is an awesome track and i really want to see what theese guys are going to do. I wonder if it will be clockwise or counterclockwise?

Slipstream Global (Producers of Formula D) and Vision Entertainment (Producers of HIN) Are Combining Forces To Show Case The First Ever North American Drift Championship
Irvine, CA. (XXXX, 2004) -- The final round of the Need For Speed Underground Formula Drift® Championship will crown the top drifter in the North America. The event runs from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Sunday August 29thth. For more information or to buy tickets for event please visit www.formulad.com. Tickets are $20 when purchased online and $25 at the gate.
The fourth and final round of the 2004 championship will wrap up in Southern California at the US Mecca of drifting, Irwindale Speedway. On August 29th the best of the best will vie for the title of The Need For Speed Formula Drift® Champion. Sam “The Crazy Swede” Hubinette in the Mopar Dodge Viper is the points leader and looks to clinch the championship, but 2nd in points is Chris Forsberg of Team Motorex in his Nissan 350 Z, 3rd in points is Dai Yoshihara of Team Pacific Rim, and 4th in points is Ken Gushi of Gushi Auto/Rotora still have a chance at winning the championship, making the final race at Irwindale a must see event. Over 40 drivers will compete in the fourth round with an open invite to any qualified drifters in area that have cars built to drifting specifications.
One of the exclusive attractions for the Irwindale championship event will be the all new Night Drift managed by the creators of Hot Import Nights, Vision Entertainment. Slip Stream Global and Vision Entertainment will be combining forces to make the first North American drifting championship a truly one of a kind event. Featuring some of the top show cars in the world and incredible entertainment the Night Drift brings together the best of both worlds.
The Need For Speed Formula D® Championship not only showcases some of the top talent in drifting but also features a full day of activities that includes: car show, action sports demo, live DJ’s, autograph session with the drivers, and the lovely Formula D® umbrella girls. Plus top Japanese professional drifters like
Seigo Yamamoto and Ucchi Utsumi and legendary driver Tarzan Yamada will not only be judging the events but will also be performing incredible drifting maneuvers.

The Need For Speed Underground Formula D® Championship is sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing. In addition to the four-event Championship, Formula D® will also include a number of exhibitions at mainstream motorsports events. The 2004 series will be documented on ‘Formula Drift TV,’ with the series of programs going to networks at the conclusion of the season.

OK heres a one week in advance heads up for Formula D on the 29th. I want to get a carra van going on that sunday from here in fontana to Irwindale Speedway if any one wants to head out all at the same time.
