"DRIFTING" Why do you boys/girls do it?

I drift because it gives me that feeling like the first time I ever kissed a girl. But with drifting the feeling happens over and over again-plus I don't get kick in the lower regions later on. That and the smell of smoke, the squeel of tires, the relaxation that comes over me when traveling sideways. Besides drifting is the funnest thing I have ever discovered--

ITS FUN!! its one of those areas in racing where you dont need that much money (well except for the tires). all you need is good suspension and ur all set. and it doesnt discriminate. you cant cheat either. if you suck you suck. yeah and its fun scaring ur friends too hahahaha!

I see it as the next step in driving. You can only do so much with grip. Eventually, you know exactly what your car can do. Then you find drift and you're like oh my god. Now you get to learn a whole new behavior to your car. You eventually get to a point where it doesn't matter what the car's doing. You can control it reguardless. That is the ultimate goal. Mind->body->car as one.

I do it cause I've been doin it since i got my Camaro... poppin the clutch and smasihin the gas to hear the Flowmaster roar. ah.. the good old days.. hehe

Then, I saw on eof my brothers SuperStreet's that had drifing in it and it was like love at first site.

well, when I began middle school my dad made me begin delivering tofu to hotels on the top of the mountain, and well, I noticed that when in a curve the rear naturally begins to slide and.......sorry I had to. I began drifting too improve my grip driving as crazy as that might seem, it works, but the SCCA guys don't like drifter too much, mabey because were faster
