What have I accomplished? The one thing that stands out for me is that I have contributed to making drifting a more comfortable environment for ladies who have come into drifting. Sounds, a bit weird…but it’s more along the lines of the people that I meet either through their interest in Drifting Pretty or at events that I can help them realized how fun it is to get out there and to just do it, because you want to. And not to worry about how they will look or what people will say, because we have gone though it and we survived….whesh… =) hee hee. I guess as a lady going out to these motorsport events you get intimidated…so knowing that you’re not the only one other there relieves the situation a bit. I know I was shaking the first time I was at a drifting event.
AutoX helps me sooo much with my racing line. When your out there and you are getting timed, you realize what a difference little movements and changes in your driving affect your times. So you start to change your line in certain spots too see if that line will work better. Then the more that you go..the more you adapt faster to new courses. But, it’s not just driving AutoX. Doing Go-kart racing and reading more about different lines to take and techniques also help too facilitate the in car driving.
Eh…I’m suffering from what we call “I’m a passive driver so cut me off, cuz I won’t honk..” hahahaha. So no..I haven’t hit my rev limiter yet. I’m working on being a more aggressive driver this year….everytime I’m out at the track I try wear heavier shoes so I’ll step on the gas more…hahahahaha j/k.

I'm going to start Amanda's thread today in a little bit.
Last question Noelle: what do you love about drifting and what do you hate about drifting...
I love you . wait...was that the question? hahahahaha I love all the fun and cute things that are associated with drifting. Like getting new tires and hugging them because they are soo cute. Then breathing them in as I drift them through a turn...wait..is that too much information? hahaha...I just love nostalgia of it all. Being out there on weekends, hanging with friends, meeting new people, learning something new, practicing something old, teaching someone else....then starving to death because you didn't go get food on your lunch break! hahahahaha Just having fun with the people that I have grown to consider family.
What do I hate...AMANDA! hahahahaha...she's always making me drive her around like I'm her slave!!! hahahahaha Wait..that wasn't the question either. I don't hate anything about the sport itself. And the other things that are not directly related to drifting that come about, I basically ignore because it takes away from my enjoyment of it all.
As long as you remember why you are doing and you don't loose sight of why you started in the first place, you should be A-OK!
