AL, The fuel cell will have a bladder in it and it will be fully enclosed. We did this to help with the balance of the vehicle. We are trying to get the weight to the center of the vehicle for better balance.
Thanks for all the compliments!!!!!

Great idea and it makes perfect sense.... Obviously you've check as to any rule allowing a fuel cell in the driver’s compartment? Did you have to request a special ruling or do they not care that there's no bulkhead/firewall between the cell and the Driver....? I see the box around the can and what looks like a Fire Extinguisher nozzle? Please tell us what provisions you had to make to make it legal....
I see that this car had a sunroof. What exactly did you use to fill that hole?
From the picture it dosn't look like you skined the roof. I'm in the process of doing the same thing, I just drilled all of the spot welds and removed the brackets that held in the sun roof. If you have time could you please let me know what you did to fill the hole and how you got it to match the compound curve in the roof? Thanks.
Zach-
We cut a new piece of metal to fit the opening, formed it, and stitch welded it in. Then our body shop filled the seams and paint. Looks pretty clean in my opinion! I hope this helps. If you have more questions, feel free to call me at the shop. 714 847-2158 ext.16. Thanks.
i'm not particularly fond of Teins either.....i know i'm rather new to the boards but i've been around the industry for a while now.....i'm going to be installing Cusco Zero2Rs on my Silvia when it gets here in the spring......obviously that's what i recommend......as for the other suspension components.....i might just rock all Cusco suspension parts but i haven't decided yet.....the coilovers are the biggest suspension investment anyway
