  • Decent Drift Cars.

Ok, no more threads about this.

Here's a list of good drift cars, so let's stop asking.

    Toyota Trueno/Levin AE86 (1983-1987 Corolla GT-S/SR5)

    Toyota Supra (1986.5-1992 is MA70) (1993-1998 is JZA80)

    Nissan 240SX (1989-1993 is S13) (1994+ is S14)

    Nissan 200SX (84 to 89?, S12)

    Nissan 240/260/280z

    Nissan 350z

    Nissan 300ZX

Nissan Skyline GTS-T (You can't afford it though, so don't ask -_^)

    Mazda RX-7 (86-91 is FC32) (93+ is FD3S)

    Mazda RX-8

    Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA6C)

    Mitsubishi Starion

    MG B

Chevy Camaro IROC (Dunno what years guys, post it here and I'll update)

    Honda S2000 (AP1)

    Ford Mustang 5.0

    Volvo 240

    BMW E30 (M3, 325i)

    BMW E36 (M3, 325i, 328)i

    BMW E46 (M3, 328ci, 330ci)

Ok, those are the cars you'll have the easiest/funnest time getting sideways with. If I missed anything, let me know.

Listing these cars is not gonna help anyone in finding cars that can drift... By simply saying ALL CARS CAN DRIFT should end it all...

sometimes people just don't listen though.

This topic has been discussed about 30 times since they cleared everything. New peeps need to use the search function or actually browse the forums before posting repeat questions.

5.0 mustang. Cheap, easy to work on, good power from the factory, suspension sux so you'll need to work on that, tons of bolt on parts.

volvo 240... easy to start drifting and to control the drift... easy to convert to GM V8 or to tune (the turbo-engines)

            HAHA, Thanks

Hey, thank you for listing the old Datsuns!. I have a 76 280z, and I'm glad someone around here recognizes those oldies, hehe. (BTW, its very easy to get sideways in my 280z, heehee)

I wouldn't put bimmers on the list. I don't think it's a good car for a new drifter to have, seeing as how crashing one would be a lot more expensive than some cheap S13 or whatnot.

you can pick up a E30 325i around here(NorCal) for like 600 that needs work or 2K for a good running one...its a cheep drift car.
dont forget OG Ford Thunderbirds (the SC and Turbo Coupe would be great)
and well just about any cheep RWD car

Same is for the 740 and the 940... However, the 240 is a better handling car...

a motorex skyline gts-t will actually cost the same/less that an RX-8 that you listed. Upkeep is a different story. the list is pretty good though.
