my 1 88 u, I'll keep trying to make each show better, I promise. I think what you saw is that I had 4 intro shows, and that each got better that the ones before it in their own way. Each step of the way I was talking to everyone I could to get feedback on the shows, and applying at as soon as possible to the next shows where I could.
Now in many ways the process has to start over again because now we will start to air the actual events, and thats a very different show entirely than the intro shows. I know what I want to show from the events, and it's focused on the actual runs from top 16 down. I dont want to just glance over the top 32, but my priority is 16 and down. Given that the show is only an hour, it's will be tight to get everything I would want in. We have to intro the event, the series, the location and the drivers. After that we want to show every run from as many angles as possible. Once those goals are met then we decide what else we can cram in there.
IN a lot of ways, Wall, NJ is just as much of a test as the 1st show. We'll need your feedback in order to make sure that we keep tweaking on the show until we have it right. It will never be 100% right for everyone as JR pointed out, but we still need to get it close to perfect for the core audience: the drifters and still make it interesting to the casual audience.
So thanks for the feedback, keep it coming...and keep al of that in mind when checking out the Wall, NJ event next week. That will be the baseline for how we evolve our presentation over the season.
