Probably Hubert, since he owns the s14. Wouldn't you want to drive the cleaner looking car in your hometown if you owned either one?

It was my first Champ Car demo driving my own car! What an experience it was to drift on the streets I used to drive everyday. I was pretty confident that I would remember the streets, the pavement variations and such, but I found the streets completely unfamiliar my first time out to the track. In fact, misjudging turn 3 (the hairpin), I almost understeered into the wall and freaked the crap out of Conrad because he would not have a car for Chicago if anything happens to it! But really, I got it under control... hehe :P

The track was just insane, especially going into Park Ave (turn 4), it was like drifting into an alley way! It was also bumpy as crap especially crossing the railways twice... It was bad enough for us in the drift cars, can't imagine the Champ Cars crossing them at over 160mph. Turn 5-6 was the best for us, a left and right chicane and connects to a 90 degree right (turn 6) that opens up on the exit. Lots of smokies there! Everybody got pretty damx close to the wall out of the chicane. My butt twitched everytime I passed through there. The funniest part was doing a three car donuts with Calvin and Gushi over there on Sunday after the session was over.

Thanks Formula D, the Motorsport Dynamics crew, Champ Car and Falken Tires for giving us the opportunity to further promote the sport! It was such an honor to drift in front of a big cheering crowd! They were so rowdy that my girlfriend and my friends almost got into a fight with couple guys because these guys were trying to take my girlfriend's spot at turn 6!!

hey motdyn, i remember those donuts! i was in the seats right next to the hairpin turn on almaden. I took video of a white care doing a slide around that hair pin turn into a donut loop and back out straight, was that you? i also have a very brief video of a blue car going in donuts near the corner there on almaden. let me know if you want any of the videos, it was my first experience watching drifting and wish it took place of the champ car event, i loved it!

here are some pictures i took:
