Rod "WILL NOT" debut in FD Finals, after talking to Kyle this afternoon at Thursdays FD Practice. We have found out the blown motor was not able to be replaced in time for the FD Fianls. You can see the car at the Mazda booth though for display. Look for the RX-8 and Rod Millen in 2006 Formula D season.

arent they using a 13b-REW
the motors already been R&Ded

Hey, it's still a rotary and it is hard to extract horespower if you don't know exactly what you are doing. And rotaries can go bad and detonate a little easier than piston engines. I'm sure if it had an sr20 in it or something than it would be fine. But then again, I am not a fan of people who put non rotary engines into cars that were meant to have them. I think it would be cool if they threw a 20b in there. That way they would have the power without too many mods. But it is a really hard swap though.

Wow. I think I got a picture of that car while they were building it. When I was in the shop I didn't think anything of it. It was just a silver RX-8 with Traxion stickers on the side. I wasn't quite sure why they had it.
You can see it in the background.
