Like I said the main reason y wanna put a blown 20v on carbs in a hachi is cause nobody has ever done it before and to be able to have a drift car without electronics. I dunno about the rally car and fire thing, but twincharging requires a lot of work, fabrication and tuning.

If you wanna have good gas mileage and throttle response then go with efi, but if you love to tinker with your ride, and just plain don't want a bunch of electronics under your hood then the carbs won't set you back at all, plus they look wicked under the hood and are the hot trend in Japan among the Hachi's. Just ask Ueo how he likes his

As far as the f20c swap, the blown 20v will be just as reliable and powerful as the F20c swap, but it'll be cheaper and easier to do since the blower and 20v are both stock Toyota items. Not to mention that story is at least a year and a half old, maybe older but to think of a Hachroku without the beautiful song of that 4ag is just plain wrong.

                        Gotta motor but no car

Whats up guys... I am liking the ideas for ultimate trueno's, here my dilemma, I have a 2000 JDM 2.5 liter twin turbo supra motor that will pretty much bolt straight into the AE86 hatchback or sedan either way. So I am looking for a car to put it in. We think the motor is slightly built and putting out about 400 at the crank. Single turbo conversion is needed though. So that my next project after I get the s14 completed that is, we have a RB25DET motor already transplanted, now we just need to find the parts to finish the front end and redo all the suspension and stiffen it etc etc, we re hoping to make one of the D1` events with both cars...we will be a force to be reckoned with, we also have and HSX that is being redone with a widebody kit that puts it six inches out on both sides, here's the kicker the entire thing is carbon fiber, everything on the outside of the car except the roof is pretty much going to be made out of that exotic material, but thats our show car not for drifting....anyway just thought I should let you guys know what is going on in area of town...let me know what you think...
