350z vs. G35

my dad was trading in the g35 for the coupe but their asking price is too high...... i think they already came out with the new drive train system that the skylines in japan have but more updated.... right now the g35 is better then the 350z in all performance wise.... for looks i would pick g35... i have talked to a dealship about the g35 compared to the 350z and basically the g35 is more of the luxory and the 350z is just sport but the g35 also has the new stuff comn out for it untill Nissan or infinity release the GTR here.... does anybody know which dealer is going to sell it and what the name of the car will be?

The new G35 will have a 4WD like the skyline. They will use the ATESSA system, just like the Skyline, just I think more improved.

no drifting in the G35 awd
the new system is normally rwd but can send up to 50% drive to the front wheels when slip is sensed in the rear wheels. works better than that audi indipendent wheel drive crap. good for grip, perfect for drag, sucks for drift.

depends on what kind of package you get cus you can disable that slip system....a chip transfers all weight soo its 50/50 ...well trys to at least to make the car stable.... rw drive .... brembro brakes that cost 5 grand...high performance tires with gun metal rims... enough power to run over 900 kids in a straight line.... let g force take its roll and that suckah will drift like yo momma

Are you suggesting that it isnt coming to america or that it isnt coming in 07? Pretty sure its coming. Some of the pics released by Nissan are of LHD GTRs. They intend to bring it here. I thought the year was 08 but 07 sounds right too. The skyline is already in Japan. It is the G35. The new "skyline" isnt called skyline anymore, but just GTR. Could be equipped with a V8. Most of you prob already knew this as it has been out for some time.

Oh and my vote is for G35. Ive liked it since the first time I saw it. Before I knew it was the skyline in Japan. Well, prob more so when I didnt know. But as for kits, nismo g35 is Swank.

im also preety shure nissan is redesigning the gt-r from what the concepts were, but should be out in america in 2007.

the G35 coupe and 350z share the same engine, they're really the same care they're both built on the same frame, the G35 coupe of course is gonna be more luxurious on the inside, but they're still the same car. The 350z has a cheap(er) interior feel as opposed to the G35 coupe, but of course if u pay more u need to get more, but as for looks the 350z gets my nod, BUT since it's the same car i'd rather get the G35 since i'm going to get more luxery, especially since what ever comes out as far as after market for the 350z will mate to the G35 for the most part.
and yes the G35 IS a skyline in Japan BUT it's not a GT-R
