Hey Chris how much would you charge for a Rb swap on a 90 240. Complete swap though, I'm talkin tranny and wires. Oh and the engine in GOOD condition.

    Project Update

Got some new pictures of how the project is going, please note that the top of the car is not finished, we ordered an OEM Nissan 350z top to see how well it would fit with our setup, and as you can see it did not fit very well on the sides, so we are going to have to go a different route and probably fab a top...Anyways, here are some new pics, enjoy!

Z's and G's are great cars! The power potential for the VQ is amazing. In fact, don't be surprised when the holy SR motors are no more due to the VQ and it's inherent strength. The chassis is good it's the rear suspension that is not ideal under major horsepower application. AEM and Team Falken have been working through the rear supensions after every event truying to make the cars perform better and better. Don't worry, it's only a matter of time before these guys dial the Z & G chassis and it will be an incredible machine to drift.

If Miki tore it up in the ORC RB Z33 why did he walk away from it after one season leaving an open seat for Imamura? Imamura was a force in the Apex FD which is supposed to be a hard chassis to handle......he isn't even in the top 10 this year? You can make your own conclusion.

Sorry for jacking your thread Chris!

Hmmm...its going to have the Vq with aps twin turbo kit? is this the same motor that milan was trying to sell as the new gen skyline motor?

The Z is very capable, it's just very expensive compared to other cars. It's way more expensive to replace a VQ than an SR. The platform has proven itself well in recent years.
