135 in my wrx was easy....need to find more room to stretch her legs out. 135 in my first mustang was scary (lots of front end lift...didn't know much about suspension setup at the time).Originally posted by tontot77
170 is waaaaay out there for me... wouldn't have the guts... been 145, and that was a bit much...
i think speed is all relative to what you're doing it in (or on). my buddy has a gsx750 and 150 on that is cake. he said it feels like a rail. 150 in a 1929 model A (if possible) would be insane fear.

if you were asking me...my first 'stang was an 1985 5.0 notch with drag set-up (sucked on highway at highspeeds), my second which i sold last week was a 1988 5.0 notch with cheap lowering springs on stock shocks (was like that when i bought it and didn't feel like changing it since i knew i wanted to sell it for profit). the '88 was ok up to around 115 or 120...then it started feeling floaty...not a lot of lift, just not very snug. got it up to just over 130 once and it was not a very good feeling.Originally posted by tontot77
