See how strong us Irish are - I'm holding up the Onevia with just one hand !

It's a pity the pit crew couldn't go over with Mulvey-san, but give him the car and he'll do damage, I feel it in my bones lads !

JR got robbed, but you like darren? lol... how does that make sense?

How many people pull away from JR on the switchback on the main straight? or stay close to him on the bank? Darren kicked *Censored**Censored**Censored* all weekend, only losing to Nomuken both times. He's going to be quite a force next year...

I'm sorry but when someone else is in drift and you suck up on while gripping just because your allowed too.... where is the honor of that.

Yea, JR was kinda slow in drift today compared to T.Djan, thats because of his angle and amount of smoke...

I also felt that Chris's runs were top 16 worthy also, but he was out placed by the solstice and the charger. Charger looked week IMO(slow in drift with angle only a mother could love), and solstice runs weren't up there with Chris's.

D mac is a G... early initiation with precision transition. He either has the perfect car or is the perfect driver.

for those who missed it, nomuken totally straightened out and hit Darren McNamara... and, according to the on-track commentator, because Darren didn't spin out, Nomuken won.

the judges can't see the clipping point where Nomuken straightened and crashed, due to the big concrete barriers protecting photographers, so it was up to the infield judge (with the green flag) to inform the judges.

maybe Nomuken was still drifting, but he took a SUPER-low angle to get his nose in... to the point where he would have straightened out if it wasn't for his car's power. it was obvious to almost everyone who saw this that Darren won.

unfortunately, the judges would rather die than give the foreigners another chance to win a D1 round, so they called in favor of Nomuken. Also, i've heard they've been trying to give Nomuken the championship all year (this is just a rumor, but i saw an Option Video recently in which they gave Nomuken a victory against another 86, and i was convinced that the judges were fudging the results to get Nomuken into the championship).

i'd really like some video of this, so i don't just sound like a conspiracy theorist.

Rules are rules. Hubinette took an outside line, and darren passed him. In formula D, darren woulda gotten the axe because it's not allowed. But, as you say, rules are rules . Hubinette took the 'gangster' line and got caught. Knowing and using the rules to your advantage is your right.

keiichi actually seems to love AE's and V8's... in fact, on friday, the only V8 that didn't qualify was Hampton's, cuz he was way off on all the clipping points. And he also gave licenses to 2 AE's on Thursday night, at least 1 of which I don't think was worth it.

Video isn't allowed per D1GP rules, at least from a media standpoint. Supposed to buy the DVD

Darren was killing it, I am sure that some people "accidentally" left the cameras on and there will be some youtube action in the next couple of days.

D1 is a video production company, not a real competative sanctioning body, and in video drama sells.

I love when people who have NEVER driven a drift car try and talk about drifting like they have been doing it for years.

If Im not mistaken the rules are bumping and rubbing is perfectly ok and to be blunt encouraged, as long as you dont bump them into a spin or off the track. Each and everyone of those drivers knows the rules and will use it to their advantage so just deal with it and enjoy the show fellas. Sadly Im stuck in bed with a mighty high 103 temp, ghey eh, so I couldnt see it myself but I know there will be video up soon so I can check it out myself but when it comes down to it, D1 and every other series out there is a show, watch it and enjoy it people stop bitching about every call lol

Oh well Im sure the whole event was badass though even with the questionable calls, *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*in jealous I missed it to be honest.
