I didn't know what's an 86s is until I saw Initial D. I saw 3 86s at my church but they are not drifter. They tuned up their 86s really good and it really loud.

Actually, the 86 is more common than many people think, and in Arizona they tend to be in very good mechanical shape. Don’t look in Auto Trader, or cars.com; they are dead ends. The only way to find a good price on an 86 is to be observant and learn their habitat. Once you learn that, you will find them often, but with a narrow window of opportunity to acquire the car. The hard part is having cash available in time. If you are serious about getting an 86 have a savings account with the amount you are willing to spend in it and a good map of area banks.

Well put et_Agent_86. The one I currently have took me a year to find. Just be patient.

It only cost me $1500 to get this one.

It runs really well it just needs a paint job BAD! In the ae86 market just take what you can get and build from there.

I wanna get another one someday just in case...

Whenever we go somewhere, everybody crowds the red hatch. Who cares about the coupe.

Yeah everyone crowds around this one....

man that cage is nice. is that an autopower?

And those look like 280z rims but I can't tell from the angle. They look good anyway.

Its not an autopower, its a custom built cage. I bought it off of KrispyKreme86, and the rims are 280z rims. Ive been experimenting with paint to see wich matches the car

I think gold with silver lip looks good on silver or black cars. I like the way white wheels look on orange or red cars. Check out the revolver levin coupe (orange) in the last summer hyper rev for an example. And you can't go wrong with black or all silver.

Nightwalker, Im waiting for Matt to give me his Deisel RTV before I take it apart to look at it. There wasnt any metal shavings in the oil but you dont ever know until you take it apart. I hope the knocking noise is coming from the fact that its low on oil. if not, then I got more cash to spend for another new 20v

I did alot to get these cars, I have driven WELL over 2000 miles for all 4, spent less then 3300 on the cars themselves. Spent more then 400+ hours with the cars working on them. Murdered one of them now that I look back at what I was doing with it. I will in a month have 5, the 5th one being another donor car. So I will have one free shell and one 100 dollar shell in the next month or so with titles if someone wants to build one up like what panda8ight6ix is doing. Both will be rolling with sr5 rear axels.

You have just got to talk to the right people, look in the small towns, find hookups where someone knows they cant afford it and knows you will treat it good.

Yeah,i was just kidding about it. But your right, like i spotted a 86 coupe, sitting on a empty lot. i wasnt sure if it was for sale or not. there was a house not to far. but it looked like it had been sitting for a while. Next to an old celica to boot.
