NOPI should send me a complintary pretzel or something lol jk.

But uhh... doesent nopi have a ex D1 USA organizer on there staff? He knows how we are on the west coast, and even if its not like that I'm pretty sure they didnt start a drift series with out ever going to one before....right?

I'll show up next year though... maybe they can get a better venue... they have a idea of what the west coast market likes now... should be better.
I think the venue was great. It was in a good central location and they had a decent amount of space for everything. Sure the track isn't as big as Irwindale but it works well in my opinion. The problems with this "location" were the high spectator entry prices, parking prices and lack of drift spectator stands.

You are right about the food but we brought out 5 coolers and a Hibachi grill so we were good. LOL!

I'm sure they have learned a few lessons from this and will return next year bigger and better. I too will return.

    Q.

He came to see me. We're B.F.F ya know. Just kidding. He works at Power Enterprise now (for a while actually). I'm sure he was just there hanging out....or spying.

We are truly trying to set this series off the right way. We've had huge success with our Drag racing series. And Just like any other series, we have our growing pains. NOPI DRIFT is rocking along and we're picking up more and more momentum after each event.

As stated earlier the parking was out of our control. And I felt horrible that most people had to pay and park and then pay again at the gate. We learned a lot from this event and we have been taking notes on how we can make our series better and give the fans, sponsors, drivers what they need.

And to talk a little about the media buys we did in LA. I don't even want to tell you how much we spent to get the word out. From radio to paying for flyer distribution and honestly I do not think we got anything for how much we put into it.

And also, I know alot of you understand drifting, but most do not know how much it costs us for each event. We put alot of money into renting the facilities, staffing and setting up the environment. So all the people that think we're making so much money off this. We're not!!

I am here to listen to everyone's concerns and comments. If you do have any questions, please feel free to email me @ caleb@nopi.com

Thank you for all your support!!!
