WOW!! It's so close to release... & this thing has it all!!!

Does anyone know if these specs are for Japan only?? or do we get all of this also?? I was a little thrown off by the asterisk at the bottom...

    also:

I know some people are comfortable drifting GTR's & awd in general... i've never tried it... but how do you think all of these electronics will effect the performance?? (i.e. the "DRM: Downshift Rev Matching", The Dual Clutch Transmission, & Predictive pre-shift control??)

There was a little note at the bottom of the page that said these specs were for the Japan market and may change for other countries. As high profile as this car is, I doubt they will change much for the US market.

As for all of the electronic sensors, traction control, rev matching and stuff, most of those types of systems can typically be turned off with the push of a button. It's the clutching thing that I'm curious about. With this new dual clutch transmission, all of the shifting is more or less automated, even on the "full sequential manual control via gearshift or steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters".

Driftfotos.com has some pictures from TMS including some interior shots. I don't even see a clutch pedal.

This car sounds like it'll be the ultimate road car. One step below an actual GT race car. I'm looking forward to it's release, but I'm not looking forward to never being able to afford it

Save those pennies mate! Just wait about 20 years
and then you might be able to get one!

But I can't see it being much of a drift car...GTR's are
better built for grip racing I think..but who says???

If it drives, it can drift!
