Kuroi finished 44th in the D1 standings, but finished 1st in the 2003 BM Challenge.

I'm about 90% sure the nitrous is activated at WOT, when you might need it most.

Why would he need Nitrous on a RB26 in a 180.. i think the rb26 is already enough hahah Especially for those tiny tracks they do the BM cup and D1 on

i'd say the nitrous is most useful at a track layout like irwindale's. the short straight before the wide turn makes it a bit difficult to build up speed for it, especially after the 1st run since they start out closer to the start of the turn. the little boost might give them the extra push they need to drift the entire turn.

I agree that Irwindale is a power course. I wouldnt really call it a track (haha) but you sure do need alot of power to maintain those long slides. I'm more used to a real track where the average speeds are lower and the turns are alot tighter.

I'm with Matto. I think the nitrous is on a window switch system where it engages at a certain point of throttle pressure. I personally wouldnt like this type of power because it would be so sudden. I'd prefer a powerfull all motor setup with a flat torque curve (very predictable powerband).
