            Big thanks to Yo Parts!!!!

this is the wife that's making the updates, lol. I bake in between working on the car, and working on customer cars, but not sure if I could sell my wares.

We try and do everything we can to raise the funds including side jobs etc

Unfortunately one of our "side jobs" that we spent 8hrs tuning and 4 hours tech/track support (plus many other things) has decided not to pay us - someone that does sands drags as a hobby, and that we have tried to help out as much as possible and the result is not getting paid for the work we did.

So, once again I appreicate the support that everyone has provided us, if you have any suggestions please don't hesitate in contacting me, or feel free to post the link in other forums.

            Thanks everyone!!!!

Ok, here's the issue. You have clearly spent alot if money to get where you are. You have had a broken car at two races now. You are now explaining how you have no money but would like other people to pay for you to go to a race where if your car breaks again you will not be able to pay to fix it. Both of your dnf's could have been prevented by some simple preseason testing. And a few laps around the oval at wait doesn't count as testing. So far you have managed to waste Briana time and your own simply because you want to "be there". It is very easy to get caught up in the cycle of "we just have to make it to the next race and do well". I think the smartest thing I've heard ryse millen say was if you can only afford to go to one race, make sure your car is ready to win. He explained to me how he would actually skip seasons to save money and prepare his car.

Just remember there will always be another race to go to.

As it sits now you are saying you have no money and a car that clearly needs more testing, and are asking for other people to pay your way. A close analogy would be taking your unemployment check and going to the casino and putting if all on red. When it comes to other peoples money, you should never gamble. Spend your own money however you want.

If you make it to ATL, will you be able to get to Seattle in July?

Wow, never heard anything more searing than that other than a fresh steak. If people want to help and send them money, then it is their money, how's that different than any sponsor? People are buying space on a car to put their name on a car, sounds the same to me. BMI is not holding a gun to anyone's head to get the cash and if they don't get it, they won't be at Jersey.

The other thing is that drifting is more risky than race driving, I mean, think about it, what other forms of motorsport are you encouraged to bounce off the rev limiter, tap walls, or blow the tires off? Maybe mud bogs, but that's about it. This car also started life as a Time Attack car (at least this looks like the Time Attack car), so it's got a season of racing under it has had some "testing." Things break and when you have an engine as hard to find as the 4-rotor, parts are hard to come by and when you get them, expensive.

So, if you have a problem with people donating money to BMI, boo them at the track. Meanwhile, people are going to send them money, BMI will use it to get the 4-rotor going, and in compensation just as a sponsor would get, their name or business will be on their car. Again, what's wrong with that?

I think you are missing what I'm saying. It is irresponsible for this team to ask for handouts when their car is clearly not ready to compete. Both failures had nothing to do with the 4 rotor engine so that point is bogus. Knowing your backround and your affiliation with drifting I understand that you have no experience with actual sponsors and how many teams in this sport have ripped off companies after claiming things they couldn't deliver. After talking to Brian I am sure these people are nice guys but showing up to the track unprepared is the same as stealing money from sponsors to me. All the time this car has spent sitting under ez ups at car shows could have been much better spent in development.

What I heard while I was at Atlanta was that the 4-rotor was the problem. I can't speak for LB, though (wasn't there). So, unless what was being reported was wrong, it's all I can go by.

As far as sponsors go, yeah, I do know about not being able to deliver. It sucks because you know you can, but lack of funding kills you and you get in that "if I can get more money and make the next event, I can show what I'm capable of." It's a death spiral that can make you wonder, "why the hell did I try."

I haven't talked to Brian about their preparedness, but they seemed pretty relaxed at Atlanta on Friday. Didn't see them at all Saturday.

Wasn't trying to start a war, but was going on what I've seen and heard while I was at ATL.

This is easy guys...if the car is up to par and is 100% ready than get the money and go, kick some *Censored**Censored**Censored* and move up the rankings.

If the car or anything else that can pose a threat to not being able to compete at full ability is present than sit this round out. You'll do more harm then anything if all these people pitched in to witness a "parade lap" from BMI at NJ and than be back on the same drawing board for Seattle.

Can Brian drive his own car at this event? I mean it's his home track so everything should be easier and I personally think he'll do better in his own car for this event. It would suck to upset his hometown fans.

I hope that these handouts wont be a new trend because like when "free-money" comes around EVERYONE WANTS A PIECE. Heck people might even come across the lines of "I want to start drifting but don't have anything, help me buy my car and I'll make sure your return on your investment is noticed." The contributors are pitching in hoping that BMI and Brian will come from left field and shut everyone up, lets not let bad choices in terms of planning and decisions really place a sour taste in the contributors mouths. There may be a time in the future that someone else really needs help.

                                Just my 0.2 cents
