I wouldn't look into getting some kanji until you can understand it,or you might end up looking stupid like this girl.

Unless you know the language, you shouldn't be putting it up on your car. Don't be the idiot with something in kanji/katakana on his car who, when questioned, doesn't know even basic elements of the language.

Putting kanji on your car is the equivalent of Japanese people putting 'Engrish' on everything.

And it's just as funny when they can't even read it unless it's put in katakana.Regardless of your language or country, you shouldn't be sticking on things you don't understand without consent from a trustworthy person who is familiar with the langauge being sought out.Even then you might get questioned, even in Japanese in this case.

If it's just for the side of your toolbox, stick on ドリフト(katakana), 山、or 峠.It's not like it's a big deal right.

well i do want to learn some japanese but the tool box bit was something i saw in a video that was taken by hand in japan when my friend was in the service he said these dudes had buddist priests bless the tool boxes so they would never mess up and always get the job done it was really pretty cool with some really high qaulity jobs done on them along with the little peices of paper on the boxes
