I've judged with Ryan over at dmcc. Yeah dmcc may have less competitors as FD but their battles are pretty close.

Think Ryan will fit right in. He has judged with both Andy Yen and Tony Angelo for many events and knows how things will be going down.

wow haha thanks? I actually drove Road Atlanta in ProAm last 2 years, and will again this year. As well as the FL round for ProAm. I even judged NOPI for 3 events in 2008 before it crashed and burned totally.

I don't know if I'd want the pressure though hahaha. FD is a tough call 90% of the time, and I don't have a big enough mailbox for the hatemail. I'd be unbiased though (just like all the current judges are of course).

Good luck to the new judge though, if it doesn't work at LongBeach I'm sure FD will fix any issues.

Exactly. I trust your NOPI experience, your driving experience in NOPI and FD ProAm, and the fact that you've been to several FD events and know how things generally run and know what to expect from the drivers and judges. I think that your resume is much better than this kid's.

How many FD events have you been to? did you go to any outside of Atlanta?

Nah, I save my $$ for my own career and the only 2 I've been to in person were Atlanta since I was driving. The others I've watched on the Driftstream and videos of course, but when I'm constantly broke from my own endeavours, I can't afford to spectate haha.

I don't see a problem with this guy being a judge, just saying.

I would be down to judge, just not every single round. That's why I vote for rotating panel.
