I mean saying "before drifting" = "before time"

It just doesn't compute - it's always been there...

      Nevermind...

In all honesty, before I knew about drifting I was a street racing poser. I would rarely participate in track events (mostly drag racing), but never took it seriously because everyone else was so much faster. My car sucked and I did not want to acknowledge it. I thought I was "the man" on the street in my POS base model Camaro with flowmaster muffler racing even slower POS base model Hondas and stuff. What can I say, I was 16 and I didnt know crap. Its embarrassing really.

But you've moved past that point and are now willing to recognize it.

Before drifting... I was really into Rally racing and touring (still am) I loved the skill and speed of rally and the real roads they raced on. I loved touring because I saw those car all over and it was cool to see a "real" car racing. I hung out with a lot of DSM guys (still do but they all went F-body) we did retarded Wangan highway races at retardedly illegal speeds. I loved honda's. Didnt like drag racing. That's about it i cant really consider myself a drifter since I drive a Acura but I love "rally racing" on dirt roads and getting it sideways. Spinning is fun too. I love the drifting mentality and that has changed me a lot. I look forward to getting a RWD in the future.

before drifting i was a hardcore fan and participant in go-kart racing. What i learned from that i put to use in the feed back of my cars which are all miatas. so essentially i still drive go-karts because the miata handles like one. I am also into going to punk shows, always have always will.

Well before I was into drifting.I skateboarded for 5 years got sponsered by a local shop,Then all my skater friends became really stuck up and i quit.I am in judo and i compete thats always fun. I worked at a video game store for about three years and we sold anime and manga and i would always watch the new stuff that we got in. Then we got initial d in.Thought it was a great series wondered if they raced like that in real life.So i got online and searched it up some more. From there i went to Drift Day 9 and D1GP.Tried some drifting in my z31.Now i have my fb and i hope to see you guys at some Drift Day sessions soon!

i got into drifting a while back. when i had my first car, a mustang. i just called it powersliding hahaha, cause i was a skateboarder. then with my supra MKII i did it a little.... and i got into sideshows and donuts. i was always into drag racing too. then with my S30 i got into it more, then i got the 86.... then i got out of all that.... then i got back into it hahaha over and over and over

Yeah the power sliding was always there, donuts too. I have fond memories of the old high school parking lot....

I forgot to mention rally racing. Although i never did anything like it except for taking back roads to my house when i leave a field party. I was always amazed at the control they had on those skinny little switchbacks and roads.

i used to be into rally the wrc, but i watched old option videos so as long as i have been into cars i have known about drifting, but until fairly recently i have been into touge and autox. also i wanted a high speed monster, as much hp as possible and let it loose on the freeway. but now all i think about is drifting and touge, autox is a little too regulated the people seem to get really peeved if you dont do it the way thgey want you to.

Before I went to college I could care less how a car handled. All I cared about was how fast it went. I would dream about catching Ferraris in a blown F150 4x4, and laugh at all the idiots doing FF burnouts. I remember watching the Nascar Japan race and I think Keichi took Kenny Wallace and Michael Waltrip drift racing. I thought "man their nuts", and "look at that little pos compatct go sideways". I remember looking at a Supra for sale with the title "720hp". I thought "Man there's now way a little 3 litre can do that". Then I learned of a little thing called a Skyline. When I went to college I meant some guys that liked road racing, and after playing NFS4 I learned that a car needs to handle to be fast. That was right when the Z06 came out. I was so proud America had made a car that could run with the best. Well about a year later a guy told me about driftclub.com. I went there and I was hooked immediately. I searched for a car anime and found Initial D. From then on I was hooked, with a new respect for JDM rides.
