Also dont use language that the censor would block, the censor blocks it for a reason, replacing a U with a ^ doesnt change that. Its not like its some magical series of letters that will spell doom, but, you found a clever way to fool it!.

Against the rules, i am expecting not to see any more of that from you.

Oh yeah and welcome to the forum.

Also, Your very argument, drifting is about style, goes against the rest of your post "drifting is about doing what you want!, as long as you do it like me, or else you suck!"

    very poor debater.

im willing to bet that a ford lighting would make a pretty good drifter if you dailed it in right. plus modifying older trucks is pretty easy because they are simpler that cars for the most part. and there is alot less body to deal with. I had a bunch of friends that were into pickups and you would be suprised at the after market backing for almost every truck there is.

the lightning, tying this in with the viper drifting thread is the Ram SRT-10, and would vehicals like the subaru baja and justy count as trucks... they prob wouldnt be too bad, considering AWD (not sure if the justy had AWD). S10, old smaller nissan or mazda trucks with some suspension work.... i dunno, just throwing ideas out there

the baja is basicly an imprezza, i really dont count those as "truck drifting" something in the middle, but i wouldnt see a baja converted to RWD drifting as deffinate proof any truck can drift or anything.

thats why i went off earlier in the thread, the el camino was used as proof that trucks can drift.. well the el camino is relaly more proof that cars of that era can drift.

not saying trucks cant drift, especialy if they are low and you have skill.

The leaf springs in the rear need to be changed. They can move side to side to much, swap those out ti will be ok. I still DONT like the idea of a factory sponsered drift truck.

I used to have an s10 with teh sport suspension. it was very easy to bring the back end around. if I had a posi and a v6 I think it could be a very driftable truck.

I would find it very entertaining to see a factory sponsored truck.

I was refering to ewoks statement...I'm not sure why the other called your post stupid. Drivers have style, not cars.

You know what would be entertaining, see it hit the wall. I guess you can call me a purist, but im pretty accepting, i like the idea of the viper and GTO, but trucks is just puching it.

It's not like the truck is going to be doing this with a stock setup.

Who said anything about a factory sponsored truck? The guy building that Dodge truck I was talking about owns his own speed shop and hes using his own funds. Personally I think he should do whatever he wants, and who cares what everyone else says. I would love to see it out on the track kicking it out. People are always hating, so it would be great to see someone shove it in their face.

does anyone remember a ford F150 comercial advertising the new suspension and they were drifting the truck?

Oh yeah I see it now, it all makes sense. Its ok for a Van from Japan to drift and everyone loves it, but as soon as a Truck from the USA drifts then its horribly wrong and has no style. You guys are a bunch of hypocrites. Just like if a domestic wins a drift event and suddenly everyone questions if it was actually drifting, but if an Import wins then its all good, no questions asked.

People questioned Kazama's win at the D1, and several people threw around the idea that the judges where racist because no american won...

its not a import vs domestic issue with import guys hating on domestic, seems to be much more an issue of poor sportsmanship that prevades our culture.
