First off if you want the REAL ID then you have to watch the Japanese one. Get off your lazy butts and read the subtitles. That is the real deal. They changed the story line in the American one and the language is just plain stupid. If you only watch the translated one then you are missing out big time.
Oh yea and Tyliian PLEASE speak english. You only make yourself look ignorant every time you post.

Initial D live action
hey folks
In Hong Kong, filming for the live action Initial D movie starts this month. It stars Jay Chou as Takumi, Edison Chen as Kousuke, and an yet un named Japanese actress as Natsuki. The guy playing Bunta is also pretty well known, except I forgot him name, I know his first name is Anthony though. From what I heard, there's a lot of filming done in Japan and they're hiring real drifters, not just stuntmen, to do and assist in the driving action. I'm really looking forward to it

that's been the most informative, but you have to look around. Use the search box they have
Hong Kong pops out movies pretty quick, so I'd say early next year, if not earlier

wha?
I feel like i'm reading a Anime message board..ha
Yeah, we've all seen Takumi's story..especially if your into Anime. no, i didn't get into drifting because of it. Anime has always been an interest in my life, so it was natural to seek out a fanastic story of a boy could drive extrodinarily well. As you all know, it's an overall must read/see.

My friend had the tokyo pop version with both Japanese and the English version. It's hilarious to watch the English version but oh so sad at the same time. It's sad to think that a lot of Americans are only seeing the English version and thinking that's how the series is like. My friend was one who only watched the English version. Most would assume they're the same but not Initial D. I don't know why they couldn't just directly translate and not make it into some stupid, cheesy, ricer wannabe version. I never knew Japanese talked like punk 10 year olds who only think their cool and sound like they're all from brooklyn, lol.
