Hey Man you're in Atsugi! I lived there in the early 90's to about midway through '94 when I moved to Misawa. Anyways I have a buddy in Yokosuka that you might have heard of his Car Club Redline Yokosuka, he has a 94-95 Skyline GTS white with blue underbody neon's. That is cool to here that we got some Military guysa that are in Japan on this forum.

thats cool tho that they like our classics, i think that kinda helps create a healthy relation between the countries car people.

Have someone that is on the board that is overseas there promote your car and see what they are willing to pay for it or even make a trade if they were to be willing.

When I was in Japan last year I went to a car show in yokohama and there were lots of Mustangs, vettes, camaros etc...people seemed to be more interested in those cars instead of all the skylines and silvias. Also, one time when we were driving in tokyo I saw a really nice chevy bel air, the japanese guy driving it had his hair all slicked back like elvis haha it was the nicest bel air I've ever seen

True....The Japanese like USDM! I heard many people in Japan are begging for mustangs! I guess they got bored of seeing 240sx and silvia all day long drifting.

Yeah I'm sure having only small I-4's, I6's and Rotarys to listen to, the deep rumble of a big V8 would definitely turn some heads in Japan. *Imagines the Lingenfelter 650TT on the Wangan* Also I read in Car and Driver (I think) that they love the Z06 over there. Of course who wouldn't want a car with 405hp and near 51/49 weight distribution that gets 20+mpg. I've also heard that there's some pretty mean 4th Gen F-Bodies over there and I have seen some Mustangs owned by Japanese people.

Anyway I'm glad they're into Escalades and not 5.0's. Can't have a bunch of Japanese guys getting their hands on my future drifter

After hearing that they have American cars over there leads me to my next question how wide are there streets. Because in europe there streets are small.

On the Highway they are wide but on the streets especially on the back roads they are just a little wider than the car at times.
So to answer your question they are hella small.

I used to live in Okinawa and I only see Classic American cars as lowriders with the hydralics and stuff.

The roads there are really small and my friends use to race and sometimes drift in the backroads.

i used to live in sasebo.... thats in southeren japan, non main land REPRESENT... lol. i never realy went up north, but what i hear is that sasebo is like the alambama of japan...

and if you think you know about small roads.... they have roads where you have to use your folding mirrors. they have rules of the road (maybe even laws) about who has the right of way.

the american nickname for the roads is goat path.... you do the math.

but its not that hard to comprehend why we like jdm and they like usdm....

but if i remember right (you guys over there now correct me) you cant bring over cars that are older than like 78 or some wierd crap just like how we cant leagaly have silvias and what not here.
