I'll say this, just be cause i tell everyone this... get a 300zx. They are hella good all-rounders. They can drag, "stop light" (if you wanna call it that), drift like a mofo, and (although i havent tried yet), im sure they race well on a track too. with money like that you could by a '96 and deck the hell out of it!. you could get a turbo model too. id prolly be in your possision. but i can never keep my hands on money i make. my 300 was the first thing ive ever payed for in such a large amount of cash... and it was only 4k.

not that im saying s2ks are bad.. by no means they are not. but 300zxs are very good all around cars aswell.... cheaper too. you could aslo get a MKIV supra... which in itself is a BAD mutha effin car. i think the interior console is magnificant. absolute briliance.

or a 93+ mazda rx-7... also a freaking nice car.

just my 2 cents... but then again its not like 2 cents matters to much anymore

Z32 is too heavy. Way too heavy. No offense though, my Supra is only about 200lbs lighter. But that's why I switched to FC.

I say don't blow all of your money, the money you've been saving for years, on a car. Just some of it. Find a cheaper car, like the 300zx, and put some money into it, not all of it though. Think of what else you could get with that money, fatty Flat Screen tv for your self, tons of possibilities besides inly the car.

None taken... but Its not "way" too heavy. It not a 4 banger. Its a power hungry V6 thats yes... heavier than a 4 cylinder. But like i said. an very well rounded car. Mine eats NOSed out 4 bangers for breakfast, and Mustangs for desert. True the wieght is a sacrafice for power, but its gears are so smooth its great for drifting and movin those back tires. And I've only had one problem with mine, and that was when I pushed the through-out bering through the presure plate... that was a fun experiance.
Then again I still killed that wanna-be riced out integra like it was nothing. 120 in 3rd gear! I know most 4 bangers that cant get that high period. I'm not saying displacement rules all, but the combination of the engine, drivetrain, gears, etc. are such a great combo it makes such a wonderful car. but anyways... some sacrafices have to be made to improve other aspects of the car, thats all i have to say... i could easily lighten the car anyways by taking alot of useless crap out... and replacing things with lighter parts, lol but i dont have the money to replace things "Carbon fiber everything baby!"

very well said... and if you get an suv... you could stick that 52" inch flat screen in it

no but seriously. unless you are trully and fully aware that you are about to spend ALOT of money on one object.. then don't buy it. beside insurance is going to be a biatch. i know a 3000gt for me was like $1400 every 6 monts... i could only imagine what it would be on a s2k

I was talking about how it would effect the car's handling characteristics. The Z32 is one fast car, no doubt about that.

yeah man you have to be sure when buying anything like that. it is a car! you dont buy those every 2 months. you might want to look into actually importing a car. because for the money might as well get a great car. i wish i had that much money to spend on a car. i wish i had 2,000 but oh well.

                      s2k

let me tell you guys my opinion of the s2k as adrift car - as i last weekend had tje opportunity to drift my friends s2k when my AE86 decided to call it a day.

The s2k is THE MOST HARD TO LEARN DRIFT CAR.

ask any professional drifter & heŽll tell you the same.

it took me about 2 hour of really trying/testing the car until i dred to go real drifting aggresive style with it.

the s2k demands maximum revs (nearly) in evry corner.

you must keep the revs between 7 & 9,4 all the time ...

with i a day or two iŽll post a video of my first time behind the wel of my frirnds s2k

                      ..just my 5 cents

dont tell people to get the z32 lol i want them all haha but yea the z32 is great car easy to drift for some of use but who cares about the weight when you got 300 horses under your hood and just simple bolt ons will get you 400 hp

That's not the point. It doesn't matter how much power you have, weight is going to effect the car's handling characteristics tremendously. Unless you're a proffesional driver, a 3600lb car is going to be very hard to learn on.

its true power isnt everything, but it really does help. especially if your ganna be swinging the car. its easier to do doughnuts with more power, im not saying doing doughnuts is drifting, im saying it helps us lose traction.

If you want the S2000 get it, theres nothing wrong with it. But don't spend all your money on parts right away. You want to always have enough money to fix things that break. And upgrade slowly do 1 thing at a time so you can feel how it changes your car. If you just jump in and spend alot of money drasticly changing your car cause you want it now. You will miss out on alot of the enjoyment of seeing your car change and devolp along with your skills as a driver.

what year is te mk4 supe
i do like those but then again its just a fat 2 seater
i think my top two choices for a car are between s2000 and a jdm itr but i think that has passed cuz i dont really wanna be a flatspotter.
hey what suspension was on the s2k u drifted if it was stock it was because it is made to understeer.
