Grassroots Motorsports is a very good magazine, but my hands down favorite is Sport Compact Car.
Dave Coleman is the man!
Why?
He had the testicular fortitude to take a project car and do what it was made to. And in the Flat Black S13's case, that was to hang the a$$ end out, so he entered the D1 US Drivers Search. He didnt get far but hell, havent seen any of the Super Street queers entering a drift comp.
I hate Super Street with a passion! If they had some editors worth a crap, itd be a good magazine. But oh no, all they do is whine and *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* about their "crappy" lives, talk about their co-workers man boobs, and other non-car relevant garbage. Not many magazines can totally screw up an article on the Do-Luck R34, but either Johny Wong or Ricki Chan (one of those two morons) found a way to waste away half the article on 3 reasons why his life sucks.
Car wise, Super Street owns, now they just need a staff that can write..

Sport Compact Car is the greatest magazine ever. HPI (some australian magazine is my second favorite) the only prob with hpi is that the bookstore gets them like 8 months late and still charges 8bucks canadian.
it was kinda funny in one issue of hpi there was a big article on a silvia race car (forget the major sponsors but it was orange and had "i heart silvia" stickers on it. In an issue of sport compact car from approxitly 1 year before, there was an article with pics from a swap meet at a race in japan, with pics of orange body panels on the ground with "i heart" stickers.
