they're just the japanese version of the italian mafia. you'll know who they are just by seeing them. you wont even need a description. the bozozoku, or bozos for short are the mini version of the yakuza. they ride around with they're loud *Censored**Censored**Censored* bikes causing all kinds of *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*.
Okinawa is a pretty cool place weather's fine untill the summer comes...like it is right now. Its so hot and humid the ants that always come to eat my dogs' leftover breakfast shriveled up and died before taking any food back home to their nest
if your gonna drift, go to the touge. dont go to aja, MP's(Military Police) are all over it so only the japanese drift there. And there a big empty asphalt lot up in Nago that we call "Nago Speedway." D1GP scouts come once in a while to look for new talent, bringing along a couple pro and the dorikin. In fact they should be hosting a tournament this month or the next....
Hope you like it when you get here.
also im half-jap so i dont have to worry about learning japanese but if you expect to work outside of the military bases, its a good idea to know it, and learn some Hogen(Okinawan Language) to be able to hold conversations with the elders
Wow it sounds so great, were do I learn Hogen, or do I have to pick it up over there, is it expensive to live there, are there any jobs in high demand? any info you have would help. Thanks
I definetly want to try touge because there aren't any mountains in florida, or hills for that matter, and it looks cool from all the drifting vids I've seen.
Well...I don't really know what's going on in the job market, since im only 17....but what im always hearing from people i talk to is that im valuable since i know both english and japanese so...start out by learning japanese i guess im sure you can easily find a job as a translator or english teacher, or work as a civilian for the military and live here you could easily find a job at the PX/BX(Military Version of a Department store)
Hogen i really put up as a joke since only the elders use it, (the damn japs forced my predecessors from speaking or teaching it during WW2) but knowing a little helps since everyone here uses a little bit.
I plan on learning japanese, but heard it's hard. one more thing can you tell me what "Blue Shark" is in japanese? It's the drift club I'm starting with my friend.
lol, "Blue Shark" is "Aoi Same"
shark isn't pronounced as the english "same" but "samE"
aww *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* it, its too hard to teach someone japanese when you cant talk to em face to face.....
good luck with your team

That's crazy. I'm 16 too and haven't even looked to go overseas for education because I got enough at home already. Good luck I guess. Aim for the military is all gosta say cause look at Ernie and a couple guys on this board.
I'm not going for education, just to work and play. lol. I've thought about joining the military but I was thinking about the whole middle east thing and I don't feel like joining and then getting shipped out into the middle of the *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*ing desert. Man I feel for those troops that's really gotta suck. For the military guys: can you pick were you get stationed, or at least tell them were you would like to go? Hey keep up the good work guys, and try to nuke that *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* while no one's looking. Just kidding.
yo, are you really serious about this though? Cause if you are, good luck on that quest. Me, after reading Seigou Yamamoto's interview in Super Street, I think I still have time (he started drifting at 28). Plus, I get two years off of college cause I'm doing this high school/college thing for my junior/senior year and my parents are reducing my prepaid scholarship to half, so they might have money to spare me to go overseas.
