because all the pix of Izumidas car are from DX shouldnt you ask him. Hes got some stuff going on with Izumida. Infact Im going to get some parts from him shortly.

the jgtc skylines have NEVER used sr20s.
they ditched all wheel drive due to weight handicap(of course not everything you read is true).
in fact i have NEVER seen a gtr with an sr20(thank god).
Supras used the 3sgte for weight balance since the supra is a whale of a car, and the v8 they use now still positions the weight farther back then the 2jz.

some of the jgtc skylines(not all) switched to the Twin turbo VQ, and all of the 350zs run them now.


btw ive seen a picture of izumidas car with a VQ as well... the plot thickens.

in 2003 they started running twin turbo vqs for gtr which are only developing into a race engine at the time, then in 2004 with all the problems eliminated from the new engine they took the series win. now they switch to 350z and run the dame engine they developed last season in the gtr which produce 485ps at 5600rpm and and 736Nm at 4000 rpm.

and btw JUN used to run a sr20 powered gtr r32 in JGTC around 10 years ago.
