As far as some basic domestic sport/sport compacts that I can think of right now that I have driven, the 87 escort GT and the fox chassis mustangs all handeled pretty well. My 96 accord was probably the "mushiest" car I have owned.Comment

Hey guys I am new to the forum and I was checking out this mustang thread to see some drifting pics but I was mad when someone decided to hate on all Australians. I am an Aussie living in Canada and just because one guy is a *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* you don't have to bad-mouth all of us. Not trying to add to the pointless drama on this post but I love my home country and I know that if someone ever said anything bad about Americans you would never hear the end of it. Once again sorry to keep this crap going, just wanted to say take it easy on us Aussies, we are'nt all chumps.

True, alot of those Silvia guys are putting down over 380whp and it isn't uncommon to see a 500rwhp drift silvia. Mckinney just ran a 720rwhp S13 for D1 so big power is not limited to the big V8s. This reverts back to volumetric efficiency.Originally posted by 180maniac

if only all new '05 mustangs came out with 5.0 Liter V-8s
then i could swap out my 5.0 V-8 in my Crown Vic for the mustang one
and yes, i do drift my Crown Vic...feels like a boat rolling sideways but still drifts
ive seen a lot of V-8 powered cars drifting and its just as good as the japs
i saw a show on discovery channel about the build up of a '05 mustang made to go road racing...when it was done it beat the last years race model....if it can road race well...then it can drift well with appropriate set up
