    Some new pics from today!

KristianAE86- How much weight did you save by chaging the front door glass and rear quarter glass to Lexan? I have been contemplating on doing this, but not sure of the weight savings. Thanks.

      Hi Eric !

(nice place of work you have, if youré the guy working for Rhys)

changing all the windows (5pcs) except the windshield, for LEXAN, saves
about 80-85% in weight - (hatch window is HEAVY as stock)

      best regards/
      ..................Kristian H - Sweden

PS: here in Sweden i can order 2 different whindshield´s..
On is 5,8mm / one is 5,2/3mm - This also saved about 1,5 kgs

        Some new pics from today!

        Hello Kristian,
Yes I do work for Rhys. Thanks. I have removed my rear hatch and replaced it with a FRP one and a 3mm lexan rear window. I was thinking of changing the rear quarters and door windows. Do you happen to know of the weight of just those pieces? Any help would be much appreciated.

          Hi !
,, nope, sorry i dont know thw exact weight savings...

but atleast 80% per window i´d say - perhaps 90% depending on how thick the LEXAN.
